November went so fast! It feels like just minutes ago I was writing down what I got up to in October. It was such a busy month and whilst I decided not to take part in Movember (could you even imagine!?) I still managed to fit in as much as possible into just four weeks.
The month began with the MOBO Awards which is an event I have always wanted to go to. I caught an early flight with the JLS lads on the morning of the event before landing in Liverpool, checking into the apartment and getting ready for the awards (squeezing in a bit of shopping time in between too!)
I got to interview some of my idols that night including TLC and Dionne Warwick.. Incredible!
Later that week I was invited to Kim and Kourtney Kardashian’s party to celebrate the launch of their new clothing line with Dorothy Perkins. The girls were super fun and very chatty and a few of the X Factor
were there to party too! Rylan was his usual chatty self whilst Ella Henderson and Union J were letting their hair down a bit too.
I then had a super brief trip home to Southampton to celebrate two of my closest friends birthdays, it was a Disney themed affair, which was fantastic fun, but I didn’t have enough time to sort out a costume – maybe next time. Maybe.
The very next morning was a dash to the train station and back up to London in time for Shrek The Musical as the show worked alongside Children In Need for a special show which included X-Factor’s Amelia Lily performing with Shrek and the cast in the encore. All the TOWIE lot were in attendance bringing a bit of ‘reem’ to the West End!
From Disney to Shrek and back to Disney all within a few days as I was then invited to a special advanced screening of Disney’s 52nd animated film ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ which is released in UK cinemas in February 2013. I absolutely loved the film and cannot wait to see it again – I will be posting a review online soon!
Keeping in line with the children’s theme I seem to have developed, I was sent to the Children’s BAFTA Awards on the 25th November to interview the stars of Children’s film and TV including Dionne Bromfield, McFly, Jedward, Stacey Solomon and Mary Berry.
November ended as hectic as it began as I had one of the busiest, but most exciting, nights of my life! On the 29th I was sent to a top secret central London location to interview the X-Factor semi finalists and to watch them perform some tracks. Jahmene Douglas
delivered some amazing vocals as always and Kye Sones was there too – he’s incredible and should have got much further in the competition.
December has already been just as busy. I’ve just got back from a work trip to Lapland and am involved in this weeks Jingle Bell Ball for Capital FM where I will be taking on the role of Social Media Producer. Exciting!
